TINY FOLDED POEMS bring and Summer ‘25 editions
or how the TINY FOLDED POEMS booklets were born
That friendly, helpful comment, earlier in 2025, came from a man I’d only met in real life once, a year earlier, and who lives 3,000 miles away, started something that evolved during the year into a hand-crafted poetry collection - TINY FOLDED POEMS. John Waire, whom I am proud to call a friend, had seen some very simple printouts of my ten-minute poems written against Beth Kempton’s #tinyseasonalpoem prompts. And he loved them.
I don’t know exactly when the decision was made. I am, by now, well acquainted with the illusion that it’s “me” who decides. In reality (if there is any such thing) stuff happens, some stuff involves me, most doesn’t.
